CHAPTER 6

“What is that?” Mike asks himself.

Something is on all fours, and he can’t make out want it is. Its eyes are bloodshot red.

It looks at Mike, then looks at David, who was closer.

David looks at it.

“What the fuck is that? A dog! Is that a dog?” David screams, panicking.

But then it stands up on two legs like a man and steps closer. The red light makes it easier to see its silhouette. It looks like a bald man, but something isn’t right. It is growling, and his hands are huge with long claws on them.

David can see way better than Mike; he was closer.

The creature has long, razor-sharp teeth. It opens its mouth wide as if it could bite a person's top head off with no problem.

The creature growls while looking at David and Mike, as if it were deciding which one of them to attack.

“Oh fuck no.” David says as he eases up the wall.

“What is that? What the fuck is it?” David shouts, then starts hopping away as fast as he can while looking back at it.

The growling stops.

“Yes, Jesus loves me; yes, Jesus loves me.” Singing can be heard once more.

Mike stops and looks back.

“What the fuck! Are we in hell, Lord? Where in hell are we?” Mike says out loud to himself.

The singing is coming from the creature.

It sounds just like the crazy man, but the tone is deeper, darker, and has a growl to it, more bass.

The creature bends back down on all fours.

“Oh fuck! Oh fuck! What is it? Lord.” David screams as he hops for his life at top speed, holding the wall and passing Pissy Mike.

“No, wait. I don’t want to die.” Pissy mike says while running faster but can’t see, so he turns right, following David.

David's shirt is one of the only things his vision can make out.

“Stop following me. Stop it now. That thing can probably smell your ass, like everyone else in this place.” David shouts as he hops fast and makes a left, with Pissy Mike fast on his tail.

Mike turns around and can’t see the creature. Then, he looks at the hallway wall and can’t believe his good eye. The creature is running toward them, but on all fours on the hallway wall, his claw digging into the concrete wall like a hot knife cutting into butter.

“Oh shit! Holy shit!” Pissy Mike screams.

“What.” David says and looks back.

David's heart feels as if it dropped out his chest and into his stomach and was ready for him to shit it out.

The situation is much worse than Pissy Mike can see because of his no eye and bad eyeball. David looks on in horror, stuck like a deer who sees car headlights and refuses to move.

David could see the creature running toward them, as if that wasn’t bad enough. What was worse, there were two medium sized ones behind him, and one small one behind those two. All four of them were running on the side of the wall as if it was the floor.
